FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect at my test appointment?

The medical test administrator will text you approximately 30 minutes or less before arrival. Upon arrival, they will meet you outside your front door, or other outside spot if you prefer (example, on driveway).

The test administrator will arrive in a mask and face shield, and will apply the test for each household individual who was pre-registered online. The PCR test swab is administered via the nose and is applied into the mid-nasal area.

Our COVID test administrators are a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals.

How long will it take for the results?

For Nasal PCR test results will be available typically within 24 hours but may take up to 48 hours.

How do I get my test results?

Your PCR COVID tests results will be sent to you via email.

How do I pay for the testing service?

When scheduling your testing window with our online Book Now scheduler, you will be able to reserve your spot with a credit card. You will have the option to either:

  1. Pre-pay in full

  2. Reserve without pre-payment (no charge to credit card at time of reservation). Full payment will be rendered at the time of service with either credit card or cash. If paying with cash, exact change will be required to minimize contact exchange.

All major credit cards are accepted as well as an HSA card.

Can I use my Health Savings Account (HSA)?

Yes, you may use your HSA for the testing service fee.

Do you take insurance?

Our service fee to come to your location is not covered by insurance.

What type of COVID-19 testing is provided?

We administer the COVID-19 PCR test processed via Quest Diagnostics. The PCR test is more accurate than the rapid antigen test. This test is administered via a swab that is applied mid-nasally, which means the swab is at the middle of the nose and not at the deep back of the nose.

Lab test accuracy is measured in two ways—specificity and sensitivity. The PCR test currently offered by Quest Diagnostics has specificity values of 99.6% to 100% which keeps false positive results to a minimum.
